Welcome to HolymoorRiding.com.
We are an ABRS approved riding centre. Our lessons and hacks can be tailored for any experience level from first time riders to the more advanced and we welcome anyone from the age of 4 to 100+. Virginia (Ginny) is a fully qualified BHS riding instructor with over 30 years experience. She is also a Bachelor of Equine Science so we can also offer a range of horse and stable management courses.

We have our wonderful assistant Becca who has been a client of HRS for quite a few years and went on to complete her apprentiship with us. She now helps care for our large four legged family and also helps to keep the riding school operating smoothly day to day. We have Kate who joined the teaching team in 2022 (who has also been a client of HRS herself for years too and learned to ride with us) she has undertaken ABRS instructor training and teaches private and group lessons as well as her continued work with pony clubs. HRS are proud to be affiliated with riding for the disabled (RDA) and also work with a variety of Neurodiverse children and adults every week in groups or on a one to one basis.

We also have an amazing team of young volunteers who have a passion for all things horse, they are around HRS most days helping lead in lessons as well as helping to care for our animals (we couldn’t do it without them!)

Please get in touch if you would like more information regarding lessons, hacks or pony clubs.

We are very busy and often fully booked, we can only accept pre-booked riding activities so please call to book ahead. STRICTLY NO ‘DROP INS’ ALLOWED.

When attending the riding school please be courteous and safe by travelling down the lane to the car park no faster than 10mph and no use of car horns or high revs (this will unseat a rider if a horse spooks). Please park on the main road or in the car park (at own risk) and not by or past the riding arena.

For security and safety CCTV is operating on the premises at all times.
