Events

When attending the riding school for any events please be courteous and safe by travelling down to lane to the car park no faster than 10mph and no use of car horns or high revs (this will unseat a rider if a horse spooks). Please park on the main road or in the car park (at own risk) and not by the riding arena. OR follow the directions given by the event organisers.

24 hour cancellation policy in operation for all activities: less than 24 hours notice requires full payment for the booked activity (no exceptions)

WEEK 1:

Tuesday 28th July:

Learn to Show Day: £50 10am-4pm for riders who have never attended a horse show and want to learn. Morning- how to prepare & show. Afternoon- show classes to win rosettes. (Show dress not required just smart riding clothes. strictly age 7 and over. (Max 16 participants) PARENTS CAN ATTEND FROM 1pm ONWARDS TO WATCH THE SHOW CLASSES. **4 spaces left**


Wednesday 29th July:

10am-11am Novice jump Clinic Under 10s £30

**FULL** 11.30am-12.30pm Novice Jump Clinic 10yrs+ £30

2-3pm: Pole Clinic Intermediate/Advanced £30

3pm onwards: available to book group lessons- please enquire directly £20 for 30 min group lesson.


Friday 31st July:

**FULL** Fast hack: 10am start £55 (approx. 1.5- 2 hours)

1pm-2.30pm ABRS ridden rosette £30 (Rosette included in the price) -2 Spaces left)

3pm-4.30pm ABRS care rosette £20 (Rosette included in the price)


WEEK 2:

Tuesday 4th August:

Pony/Alpaca Day 10am-3pm £40

Wednesday 5th August: 
Volunteers Overnight camp (£10 for food) (volunteers who attend volunteering regularly)

10am-11am Intermediate/advanced jump clinic under 12s £30

11.30am-12.30pm Intermediate/advanced jump clinic 12+ £30 **1 space left**

Friday 14th August:

Advanced Rider Show Day: £50 10am-4pm Intermediate/Advanced Riders already clients at HRS who have some horse show experience (not for novice or new to showing-must be totally independent with horses). morning- fetching and preparing your chosen horse, afternoon- show classes to win rosettes. (show dress not required just smart riding clothes. strictly age 10 and over. (max 16 participants) Parents can attend and help their riders.

WEEK 4:

Tuesday 18th August:

10am-11am walk & trot hack £45

12.30pm-2pm fast hack £55

3pm-3.45pm minis hack experience £25

Wednesday 19th – Thursday 20th August-:

10am Wed to 10am Thur: Sleep over camp 9yrs-15 years (please read T&C before booking) £100  (day 1 packed lunch required, drinks, cake and evening meal and breakfast provided) **air/camp bed, sleeping bag & torch/spares clothes etc required**


Friday 21st August:

11.30-1pm picnic walk and trot hack (bring your own picnic-we will transport to picnic location) £50  **2 spaces left**

Friday 28th August: Friendly local owner & loaners show Classes and info to follow. (Full for volunteers for now)

WEEK 6:

Tuesday 1st September:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

– All bookings have 48hr cancellation policy no exceptions

– For any ponydays/camps or day activities please send children which appropriate clothing and a packed lunch.

– For camps children must be able to happily spend a night away from home

– For camps please let us know on booking if your child has any dietary requirements (drinks, cake and evening meal and breakfast provided)

– NO PHONES overnight during camps

– All activities are first come first served

– All activities are agreed at staff discretion, if we believe you/your child is suited to a different ability session we will suggest this.

– Unfortunately we do not “reserve” ponies due to demand, horse workload and safety. Staff will put riders on horses we believe are suitable for both you and the activity.
