At Holymoor Riding School lessons can be tailored for any experience level from first time riders on lead rein to the more advanced. We take riders from the age of 4 and over. Ginny is a fully qualified BHS riding instructor with over 30 years experience. She is also a Bachelor of Equine Science so we can also offer a range of horse management courses. Katie is our Trainee riding instructor who has obtained ABRS riding instructor qualifications and is continuing her education with them.

We hold most lessons in our 40m x 20m all weather surface riding arena (featured). We some times also carry out field lessons and jumping courses in some of our own fields to further enhance a riders skill and ability in different settings.

We offer lessons 5 days a week (closed Mondays and Thursdays) between the hours of 09:00 – 18:00, lessons can be booked for 30 minutes or 1 hour.

Semi Private (up to 3 riders)

Jumping Clinics

24 hour cancellation policy in operation for all activities: less than 24 hours notice and ‘no shows’ requires full payment for the activity (no exceptions)

When attending the riding school please be courteous and safe by travelling down to lane to the car park no faster than 10mph and no use of car horns or high revs (this will unseat a rider if a horse spooks). Please park on the main road or in the car park (at own risk) locates just before the riding arena, **please do not drive past the riding arena**.  Please turn off engines and do not sit with your car idling or opening and closing doors/boot as this also spooks horses.   **STRICTLY NO UMBRELLAS AND NO DOGS ALLOWED **
